 | Panasonic VIERA X1 Series TC-L26X1 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV
Beautiful -- 2010-03-09 It is just beautiful. I was able to hook up my Roku, dvd player and computer to this with no problem. The picture is just fantastic.
Happy -- 2010-03-09 This Panasonic Viera X1 more than met my expectations. Love it...The ipod docking station charges and plays, the photo slideshow works beautifully (Note: only SD or SDHC size memory cards fit in the slot, not memory stick, etc.) Very good price for what you get. Happy, happy!

 | LG 32LH30 32-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Gloss Black
A Great HDTV -- 2010-03-08 After looking at the 32 inch LCD HDTV reviews at Amazon and other sellers, I decided to purchase this LG. It arrived quickly and safely via UPS. The picture is simply perfect on HD cable channels or the attached 1080i DVD/VCR, both connected via HDMI cables. In fact, the picture is superb on non-HD cable channels! Extensive comparison shopping showed that Amazon had the best price and super fast, free shipping!
If this weren't installed in our bedroom, I could be a little disappointed with the TV's limited viewing angle. If your situation requires a fairly wide viewing angle, I'd recommend another TV. Viewed from our bed, however, it is perfect - just what we wanted!
Excellent TV for the price -- 2010-03-06 I had been shopping for a new LCD TV and once this was the 'Deal of the DAy' in the Gold Box, I could not resist. The picture, sound and ease of the menus are fantastic. Highly recommended for the user that does not want to take a course on how to turn on the TV. Thanks Amazon.

Great while it lasted.....then Samsung damages unit under warranty -- 2010-03-06 Enjoyed this TV for 10 months until it developed a vertical banding issue. A gray-white band approximately an inch wide appeared vertically across the entire screen. (Google it, seems it has been an issue with some Samsung displays.)
Samsung asked that I send the TV to their service center via UPS. They returned the TV a month later and when I opened the box, a loose screw fell out and the unit was covered with scratches and various other damage. It was obvious the damage was caused while sitting in their repair center or by their careless treatment and packaging of the TV for return shipment. The original packing material that I saved and so carefully returned my TV in had been ripped apart and returned with the "repaired" TV.
I was referred to their "Executive Service Center," which requested that I photograph the damage; which I did. A week later I got an email saying that Samsung refused to take responsibility.
So our new Samsung lasted less than a year and warranty service returned it after a month looking as if it had been left out in the street during hurricane Katrina.
We are looking to replace 2 other CRTs in the house. Needless to say we won't be looking at Samsung. BUYER BEWARE!
Amazing -- 2010-03-03 This t.v. is wonderful. We got it the day after Christmas at a very discounted price and it is the best purchase we ever made without researching first. The picture on it is crystal clear. While there is an internal tuner, it only picks up on some of our channels, the more difficult ones need an antenna.
The only thing I was disappointed about was there is no PIP (Picture in Picture). I didn't realize that it didn't until I got it home, but honestly, it's worth it because this t.v. appeared to be the best of it's size and price range. I guess you can't have everything, and that's okay.
Pros: amazing picture, pre-set picture and sound settings to choose from (or you can customize your own but I find these options perfect), easy to use remote that has picture size button in case a channel is stretched, internal tuner, chic look, beautiful t.v.
Cons: No PIP, internal tuner not quite good enough to pick up certain channels

Great TV for the Den or Bedroom -- 2010-03-08 I purchased this on a "one-day" sale from Amazon and have used it for about 3 weeks. I have been very impressed with the picture and the features of the set.
One additional feature that I had not considered in the purchase was the SD Card slot for displaying photos. This makes my holiday photos look outstanding!
Even though I do have it connected through my receiver, I find that the built-in volume level perfectly adequate for the room (12' x 12') it is in.
I chose the 1080p resolution as a non-obsolescence feature but I do plan on upgrading to Blue-Ray shortly.
Overall, a great bargain at less than $400.
Great TV for the right price! -- 2010-03-08 I love this TV the picture is amazing, it is definately one of the best TV sets I have ever owned, I am considering buying a second one for my father. THe price is great and I received my TV just 2 days after ordering it. The size of the TV is perfect for a bedroom, it even appears larger than other 32 inch models I have seen. I highly recommend this set.

 | Samsung UN55C7000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV (Black)
Way overpriced for price range -- 2010-03-09 The TV is comparable to 8000 series in performance but does not match up to the 8500 local dimming version. The price is way overblown considering other manufactures offer the same TV for far less. $1999 is a reasonable price.
un55c7000 is impressive -- 2010-03-09 I have not purchased this HDTV (yet) but have seen it in 3 stores in person running 2 different bluray movies (Monsters v Aliens and Speed Racer) and saw it on both ESPN HD and on the Food Network (HD). I was tempted to pull the trigger on the price drop this week to $2499 at Amazon, but alas, it is gone (for now) and back up to $2900.
Videophiles argue about the flashlighting in the corners on this TV due to the edge lit LED technology and, thus, I may wait to see the c8000 before making a decision (it is supposed to have "pinpoint dimming"). In any event, having seen this TV in various environments, I believe the flashlighting is overblown. Yes, it has a very faint (only in the bottom 2 corners - not the top) glow if you have black bars at on the screen or in a VERY dark scene (VERY). However, if someone didn't tell you about it, you'd likely never notice it.
The best part about this TV is how crisp the colors and sharpness are out of the box. Even in dynamic mode, this TV blows anything on the floor away other than maybe the b8500 from Samsung (which has local dimming). It was next to a b8000 and b7000 (2009 models) at one store, and the c7000 looks phenomenally better. It also has much less glare from those two (which have shiny - plasma like screens). The best plasmas in the store couldn't hold a candle to this TV.
The biggest downside I noticed was not the (over critiqued) flashlighting, but the off center loss of black levels. If you stand out 10 feet from the TV and then move 5-6 feet either way, you notice a big difference in contrast. But, in the sweet spot, this TV looks unbelievable.

 | Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV
Definately the MOST stunning picture I've EVER seen on a TV... -- 2010-03-09 It likely goes without saying that 240mHz makes a big difference. However, when I had my HD service installed by Comcast on this TV, even the technician said, "WOW, that picture is unreal! Is this a 240? It's like the people are walking around in 3D." I couldn't agree more! It's simply the most amazing television I've ever owned.
So, beyond my "shock and awe" I've owned a 50" Panasonic Plasma and a 37" LCD. Those two PALE in comparison! Even using a Bluray player on my 50" plasma (also in 1080p)the picture is EVEN BETTER! I didn't even realize it was possible!
My one caution for this setup, you better like HD reality. Many shows in HD or movies on Bluray look so real, you literally feel like you're there. I watched an episode of House last night and thought the clarity and film work was so drastically different that it almost look more like filming of a soap opera. It's taking some getting used to that's for sure!
I can't wait to try the Amazon On-Demand HD movies!!
question -- 2010-03-09 Could somebody help me, which LED HDTV is better the Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV or the new Samsung UN55C7000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV?
I would like to buy one of them and I'm not sure if I should spend more money for the 3D LED UN55C7000...
Thanks for your help

Delighted with MY TV!!! Samsung 55 LED 7000 -- 2010-03-05 Received my Samsung 55 LED 7000 TV 1 hour ago and I am ecstatic. $1699.00 no interest for 24 mos., free shipping in 3 days and no 8 1/2% tax. This is $300 better then best local at Frys. and with tax savings and delivery charge!! Was delivered by Pilot Transport. They wheeled it into my living room, unpacked, set it up on my fireplace and hooked up cable and electric. Took about 15 minutes. I am 70+ yrs old and can not lift or use my hands well. The man from Pilot, Orlando Amayas, was really nice and above and beyond in his service.
I read the quick setup guide and ran it through time set, channel scan and started watching.
Picture is brilliant!! Have in a well lit area and cabine is beautiful Love the controls and the little mini-remote. This is a replacement for my Samsung 40" HD that is three yrs old and now destined to my home office.
I looked at the 8500, 8000, and the 7000 side by side at Frys. I really couldn't see any significant difference so the 240HZ at bigger bucks didn't make any sense to me. My son has the 8500 and he is a sports nut and says he can see the difference but of course with much younger eyes. Do the side by side your self and see what you think for yourself. If any changes or problems I will update this. For now, I am a happy camper in Houston. Go Aggies!!!
Big and beautiful -- 2010-03-04 Easy set up, great picture, excellent price. Beat Best Buy by $400+ considering no shipping, no tax.

 | Samsung LN19B360 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black
college daughter's Christmas present -- 2010-03-07 My husband and I purchased this Samsung TV on Amazon.com and were very sceptical about it. I wanted to go to a store, but gave in. The price was the best we've researched, so we took a chance. The TV came within a week and it was packaged safely. It was a belated Christmas gift for our college daughter, so we didn't open it up until we brought it to her. It was easy to set up and she loves having her small tv for all the girls on her floor to watch their favorite shows!
I would recommend buying expensive items on Amazon anytime!
Great TV, Great Price! -- 2010-03-07 Love the picture and sound on this tv- it was way better than expected. And for the price!! It came super well packaged and over protected. I would buy this item 10 more times if I had a use for 10 more TVs.

 | Samsung LN26B360 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV
Overall reasonable choice for good price with little to no issues -- 2010-03-04 Being a college kid and constantly striving to make sure that every dollar spent, is definately worth it, I did weeks of research before coming to the conclusion of purchasing this television. It may be one of the cheaper models that Samsung makes, but personally I believe it so far has proven to be a worth-while purchase. I have owned the TV for about a month now and don't regret it one single bit. Currently, I do not use it as a TV to watch TV, so I can offer no insight to what its compatibility is with standard, mid-western cable service. However, I can review it on its use as a computer monitor and video game television.
As a computer monitor: This television provides crystal clear graphics on computers that can transmit the proper screen format. The computer that I have hooked up to it is a 2006 Dell XPS 400 that originally came with a 19" Flat-screen LCD display in 1280x1024 resolution, so I was not positive on whether or not this hookup would work with the 1360x768 resolution of the TV. Following the owners manual that comes with the television was very helpful in setting this whole process up; however, the use of certain display programs such as ATI Catalyst Control Center may be required in order to change the output to the TV in the correct format. After finally setting everything up, it looks and works like a dream as a monitor. I have watched programming from Hulu, YouTube HD, and other video websites and this TV allows for the full potential of hi-res videos across the internet to substitute for my lack of HD cable service. In fact, as I write this review, I, a very near-sighted man, am typing 6 feet away from the screen and could probably still sit a foot or two back more and strain very little to see what I'm typing. It may be overkill as a computer monitor, but nothing feels better than typing from a futon instead of a computer desk.
As a Gaming TV: Currently pleased with the results, but have not yet hooked up HDMI from my Xbox 360 to reach its full potential. I am using just the component connection that comes with the TV and games such as COD 4: Modern Warfare and Forza Motorsport 3 look stunning. The Xbox 360 originally wants to transmit in 720p, but you can change this manually to 1080i depending on what your preference is between the two. The TV, only 60hz processing speed, does a great job of keeping up with all of the gaming action and explosions with no noticeable blurring of images, so it works perfectly for those faster paced games.
The feature I like the most about the TV is its numerous amount of hookups available in the back. As seen in pictures above, the TV allows for many different electronics to be hooked into. As of right now, I only have a Xbox 360, Xbox, and computer hooked up to it, with the audio out going to the high power stereo I own and still have many other hookups available. Panasonic may have a less expensive TV on Amazon for 26", but it does not have half of the hookups as this Samsung and does not allow for RCA audio-out. So if you are just an entry level LCD TV buyer who does not plan on hooking a ton of electronics up for multi-purpose, the panasonic would be fine, but for those like me, this TV offers many more options to play around with. The picture adjustment is very easy to operate and can help anyone achieve the picture quality they desire whether they want the deep blacks or a little more lighted picture. Customization is almost necessary since Samsung only has provided three picture presets which do not do the TV justice.
Addressing the proposed "squeal" that some people have experienced: Yes, I have noticed that the TV does make what I call a "humming", but it is hardly noticable. The only time that it can be heard is when the room is completely silent and still one has to listen very tentatively to hear it. In comparison to standard televisions which have a much higher "humming" noise, this is nothing. Maybe some of the individuals writing reviews received bad units and this sound is more noticeable, but that is the risk one takes in buying anything, some products can be defective, its the nature of mass manufacturing.
I gave this product a Five star rating because it is very affordable and a great value for those on a tight budget, its versatility to interface with other electronics, and its ease of setup for picture quality and helpful owners manual.
Amazing!!! -- 2010-03-03 I've had this tv for 2 months now, and I have to say it is great. It's hooked up to the ps3 via an HDMI cable, to picture is amazing, also watching bluray movies on it is unbelievable. I don't regret buying it.
