Great Camera -- 2010-09-05
I've just received my Kodak camera and I'm loving it. With 12 megapixels you can take excellent photos and when you use 10x zoom the quality is just awesome. I took a picture in the dark room with 1 candle only and I took that photo with high ISO mode and it was like I've been standing in a bright room. The only thing I complain is that after I've taken HD video, the voice is a little bit low. But anyways this camera is pretty good one with affordable price.

Wish I could post some of the pics I've captured with this camera. Just took it out of the box and started shooting. The color is amazing and closeup are really great. This is the first camera in years I've been really happy with.

AWESOME CAMERA FOR THE MONEY -- 2010-09-04
This is an AWESOME camera for the money - I bought it for our vacation, and it took beautiful people/nature/etc. pictures with such clear definition! It is easy to use, easy to carry around, has many wonderful features, and the green color is pretty fun. Also, it is well built...my camera just got knocked off our kitchen counter onto the hard ceramic tile. I cringed as I turned it on, expecting damage...but it is fine, thank God! I LOVE my new camera - would recommend it to others 100%!

Great camera for the price -- 2010-08-29
I bought this camera for my son to take on a trip to Boston. It's super small and light, so he didn't mind carrying it. It also takes fantastic pics. I highly recommend it. However, it doesn't come with a memory card, so you might want to order one.

For the price, I am very happy with this camera. I'm am no camera expert but I feel that the resolution was very clear, I could use some of the pictures for my drawings. The camera is great I have owned it a while! I had my friend take some pictures of me competing in a drawing contest. The pictures turned out very nice! Especially for the price this camera is a good DEAL! I was just gonna use it for just hanging out with friends and photographing my drawings, but I might use it for more.

The Kodak C142 Digital Camera (blue) -- 2010-08-30
I am a professional photographer. There are times that I don't want to lug my DSLR around with me. I wanted a small point-and-shoot camera with features I actually need and will use. The Kodak C142 is perfect.

The Smart Capture mode makes taking great pictures every time a reality. Open the box, pop in the batteries and memory card (not supplied with the camera) turn it on and click away.

I tried to "fool" the camera with tricky situations, it has never failed. From 6 inches to infinity, this camera takes tack-sharp pictures you will be proud to share! Sharing has never been easier. You can send pictures or video directly from the camera to many different applications such as flickr, Kodak Gallery, facebook and YouTube very easily. You can even set the camera to send email by typing in email addresses on the screen with the multifunction buttons. Take a picture, want to send it to facebook, while reviewing the picture press "share" and choose facebook. All the rest is done for you automatically when you link the camera to your computer.

Even setting the time on the camera is done automatically when you link the camera to your computer. Kodak has done it right with the C142!

Who would I recommend this camera for? Everyone, young adults, technology challenged people, people who want great pictures with no fuss, and advanced photographers who want more control over the picture taking process. The auto focus is spectacular! I framed my dog in the focus area, as she walked around in the frame, the focus area followed her... another perfect shot!

If you are thinking about buying a camera and this model is in the running... buy it! You will not be disappointed.

Just OK -- 2010-08-27
We bought this camera two monts ago for our 11 year old son who right now is pretty much into LEGO stop motion movies. He is more than happy with it and the excitement hasn't worn out like it would had happened with a toy. The camera really does all what long description given at Amazon says but only when used in ideal-normal conditions like a sunny day. In this conditions, the pictures are exceptionally good for the low price. However, the functions of the camera are limited. For example, we were in a restaurant and there was enough illumination to take the picutres without flash but incandecent light made the pictures look orange. Every camera I know has a fuction to compensate this but this camera simply doesn't have it. For my kid, this camera is excellent but I wouldn't use it as my family camera.

worth the money -- 2010-09-09
It is a little bit bulkier than what I had hoped for... but it does take great pictures. It has many different scenes to choose from... very user friendly. I feel like it is well worth the money... especially if you buy it used.

easy to use -- 2010-09-08
This camera is fun and easy to use. great for everyday pictures or quick videos. Just do not drop it because it will brake. Otherwise if you are not a professional photographer and just want to take some fun pictures and maybe add some accent colors or have fun making the sky pink and your dog blue then this is the camera for you.

Image Stabilization: FAIL -- 2010-09-09
The Image Stabilization, or perhaps better put the lack of Image Stabilization makes this camera unusable. In full daylight one out of every 4 pictures taken without zoom is usable.

Hey there - smile -- 2010-09-07
My daughter bought this camera a few months ago. I so enjoyed using it that I bought one for myself. Can take some great sports shots if the lighting is pretty good.
Easy to operate. Many different settings - haven't been able to try them all out yet. Not too big but substantial enough that I don't feel like my hands get in the way when I'm taking pictures. I'm going to have fun with this camera in Paris!

Diopter Adjustment Problem -- 2010-09-06
Camera was not actually used as I found out there is no diopter adjustment, for the viewfinder, after ordering the camera. Becauase of different eye capabilities it is imperative that a camera I use have such an adjustment. Because of this problem the camera was returned to Amazon.

Kodak easyshare Z981 -- 2010-09-06
We wanted a camera that took great pics in very low light. We were at a concert and saw a lady taking pics and they were great. I ask her what kind of camera she was using and she showed me the kodak Z981. I then started looking for the best price I could find. This was the place. Great deal.....

Excellent Purchase -- 2010-09-07
I was pleased with this item. The camera was purchased as a package--on sale-- for less than $200.00. I was very pleased, since I had a $200 limit. I continue to learn more about the camera in relation to lighting. For example, I noticed that in black-light environments that it gets blurry. However, there are different light settings on the camera itself. Overall, this was a worthwhile purchase.

Kodak EasyShare Z915 10MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5 inch LCD Black Kit (includes Battery, Charger and Bag)

I bought This camera for the very good offer it came with, 8 GB SDHC, Battery Charger and 2 AA rechargeable batteries, a case and 2 Alkaline replacement batteries. All for about $89! What a deal
The camera itself is not bad at all for this price, it has 10X optical zoom!
It takes crisp clear pictures at normal zoom, but when zooming closer you need a tripod or keep hands steady..it is very sensitive to shaking. The stapilizer feature is not that much effective iot seems.
The camera is made of plastic and very light in weight.
Video shooting is not HD but that's still very decent and acceptable to me.
I would recommend this camera to everyone wishing to go from normal to little advanced level

Great bang for the buck -- 2010-09-07
This camera has so many features and is amazing. I had an older model of a Panasonic that I accidentally dropped from about 10 feet high and shattered so I needed to replace it. Everyone told me to buy a Canon so I did. Boy was I disappointed. I returned the Canon 940IS and bought this camera. The Panasonic cameras have very powerful flashes that go about 10+ feet. Canon flashes go about 6 at the max so all the indoor photos were junk. This camera has a great zoom that is so useful for sports etc.. I actually read the user manual and have done a few great portraits as well. You won't be disappointed. Go to [...] if you want more specifics on what this camera has to offer.

really like this little camera -- 2010-08-31
Easy to use. Just enlarged a picture I took ( at a drugstore kiosk) to an 8 x 10 and it is beautiful and sharp. Only problem is common to this type of camera, and that is it is difficult to see the object in sunlight through the viewfinder. Still learning to use all the options.

After much shopping on line and in store, I found the best buy at Amazon and I feel like I have found "the camera" that a 73 yr old Grandma can operate! I may never learn to use all the settings, but already know enough to take good pics of all my Grandkids/Family/Friends. When you get older, all you have are pics!! My older Canon had to be replaced after it fell in the lake (so did I, partially) Buy it, you'll like it. JJ

Disappointing. -- 2010-09-03
The problem with this camera is that the lens got stuck. Twice! First time the lens wouldn't come out when the camera was turned on, causing the camera to beep and show a "lens error, restart camera" message, but each time I turned it off and on I got the same message. So I turned it into Canon to get fixed. Second time about 5 months later same thing happened, except the lens got stuck outside and will not go back in. I am extremely disappointed in this.
