 | Apple iPod nano 16 GB Silver (5th Generation) OLD MODEL
It's an iPod... what else is there to say? -- 2010-09-07 I've been hooked on iPods since my first "iPod photo". This is my first smaller-sized iPod, though--I've always gone for the bigger types before, but wanted something that I could strap to my arm.
There are tons of reviews already, so I'll just add what I thought was the most 'different' about these compared to ones I've used in the past:
1. There's a motion sensor (I forgot what they are called) that changes the display based on whether you have the screen straight up or tilted to the side, etc. While this is a cool new feature, I've found it to actually be more of an annoyance than something 'useful' and, if given the choice, would probably disable it. First of all, if you don't lock the iPod, and are, for example, running, the shaking motion will actually activate shuffle (sometimes) and your song will change suddenly. Also, sometimes the sensor will lag, and your song title won't show up right away (if it is tilted to the side, your albums covers come up).
2. Apple, at some point, changed their connections so if you have an iHome (or other such speaker device), it might not be able to 'charge' this generation of iPods. I was sorely disappointed by this, as it meant an extra $70+ cost to replace my speaker, even though it was working perfectly.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and the quality of the iPod itself. (The pink is so pretty!!!). Marking it down for the minor annoyances, although I guess they don't actually affect how good the product is (overall). Hopefully the next model will be more to my liking?
not the newest model -- 2010-09-06 If I new a newer model was due out this week, I would not have bought this one. The new model is smaller and they have done away with the click wheel, I hate the click wheel! There is nothing wrong or bad about this model other than its not the newest model out there. Its my own fault for not researching better befor my purchase. For the same price you can buy the new nano model which has all the same features, is smaller, and with a touch screen (no more click wheel). No reason to buy this OLDER model unless they drop the price on it significantly.

 | JBuds J2 Premium Hi-Fi Noise-Isolating Earbuds (Black/Electric Blue)
Product had a short life after 1-2 years of use. -- 2010-09-08 Product had a short life after 1-2 years of use. Its signal connection became less stable at the plug end and the sound quality unacceptable so it is not a high-quality product after all. Consider it a disposable item if you please.
Earbuds don't provide the best fit -- 2010-09-07 I received these headphones last week and was really excited. My excitement then turned into a little bit of frustration as the fit of the headphones is really not that great. True, they come with three sizes to choose from, but none of them seem to stay in my ear as solidly as I would have expected. I found a solution (turning them up so that the cable points up and runs behind your ears). If you do that the sound quality and comfort is ok, but I would not recommend this for extended use.

 | Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones
Good headphones -- 2010-09-07 These are great headphones for the money. The stars are based on what was paid compared with quality. I own more expensive Sony headphones and these ones are definately good for the price paid. My kids use them in the car. Be aware that the cord on these is really long. The do get a bit uncomfortable after extended use, but for listening while mowing the lawn they work well.
Old school Sony build qaulity! -- 2010-09-05 Been using the set for almost 3 years now. They're still kicking. They have survived numerous drops, pulls on the wire, puppy chewing on them, and even a few angry tosses >_>
They are very comfy as they are not tight on your head (they will fall off you look down though). Sound quality is good, not great, but its under $25, so great for the price.
Recommended.

 | Sennheiser CX 200 In Ear Canal Ear bud
Perfect For What They Are -- 2010-09-07 You aren't getting the CX200's because you want the ultimate in earbud technology. You are getting them because you want a cheapo pair of ear buds that don't sound too bad, which is exactly what you get with the CX200.
Pros:
Very comfortable
I completely forget they are in my ears. They are in fact, so light and have almost zero feeling in the ear, that it is nearly distracting, since I am not used to such localized music in my ear canal without the feeling of something stuffed into my ear holes.
Reinforced connections:
A lot of ear buds break after tugging the wire over and over to remove them, but these are a bit sturdier, with a shrink wrap tube where the wires meet the ear bud.
Decent sound:
You won't be using these in the sound booth or to mix music on your laptop, but in the garage or datacenter or on the bus, they are good enough. Highs and mids are good.
Cord length:
Not too long. Not too short. I really dislike super long head phone cables, since they cause more trouble than they are worth.
Cons:
Bass response:
Not the best. Not terrible, but not as good as the higher frequencies. Bass is good for electronic music, but acoustic bass drums don't seem to hit very hard.
No case: A little case would have been nice, but then again, I paid less then twenty bucks for these, and I have tons of cases already.
Music I based this review on:
Steely Dan "Gaucho":
* Saxophone a bit shrill, but not bad
* This is a song with famously high dynamic range, and begins to overload the ear buds
* E Piano sounds nice
Steely Dan "Caves of Altamira":
* Horns sound decent
* Toms come in clear
* High hat could be brighter
* Bass and E Piano tend to mush together
The New Deal "Techno Beam":
* For such a busy song, the CX200 did pretty well
* Acoustic bass with drums with electronic everything else all came through ok
Megasoid "Stabshot Riddim":
* Dubstep tracks can be real headphone killers, but the CX200 kept up pretty good with all the humungous and obscene amounts of sub-bass and crunchy 8-but sounds
Live up to the name of Sennheiser -- 2010-09-01 I was suspicious about the complains on this review board. What better way than to try it out. I bought this and wahla... the sound quality of a Sennheiser. Nothing more, nothing less. It'd be nice if these guys can come out with speakers like this and beat the hyped up price of a bose.

 | Altec Lansing iM-237 Orbit Ultraportable Speaker for MP3 Players (Silver)
GREAT FOR THE PRICE -- 2010-09-05 Sound and clarity first rate.... what makes it attractive is the size.... easy to pack.... wish the battery life was better but all in all.... good pickup!
Great little speaker, but be careful for small design flaw -- 2010-09-04 I purchased this little speaker in September 2009, after much research & trying out a few others. I was immediately impressed by the abundance of quality sound that came out of such a small speaker. Everything was great for a while, but a few months ago the cord began to come loose from the male connector of the unit, exposing the thin speaker wire inside. All it took was one instance when the speaker was connected to my IPod, and the Ipod dropped out of my hand causing it to dangle from the speaker for a second. Then the metal speaker wires became visible (the rubber sheathing got pulled back from the 'fall'). I tried to place electrical tape around the bare area to help protect the wires from fraying & bending (or worse) but this proved futile over time, as the wires grew weak & have now almost broken. Now, to even get sound out of the speaker, I have to bend the connector (which is surrounded by tape) slightly back & forth until I can hear full sound (left & right channels go in & out as it bends) come out of the speaker, but this is only works for a few minutes until the wire bends back into its state of disrepair. So, as long as you take extra care of the cord and don't ever let any type of mp3 or Ipod that weighs any amount to fall & hang from the unit, or get pulled away from the speaker with any amount of force, you'll be okay. Now, I'm looking for another speaker. I like this one, but the flawed cord design will make me look elsewhere.

 | iFrogz Luxe Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Blue/Black)
It breaks -- 2010-09-07 These are great for the price, but they do tend to break where the tabs hold the two halves together. I barely had it a month - just too long to return.
It broke! -- 2010-08-22 The case may look aesthetically pleasing, but it's a little too tight. The case and its awkward little bubble do well to protect the phone, short of suffocating it.
After only a few weeks of use my case broke at the bottom front near the docking area by an even split. After using it like that, the bottom front portion just plain broke off.
I would recommend instead to use a soft rubber case that elastically fits and protects the phone.
Also, not using a case at all is usually fine because the most fragile part of the phone, the front glass, cannot be covered because that would make it useless.

 | Griffin iClear Armband Case with Clip for iPod nano 5G (Black/Clear)
Great Nano 5G armband... -- 2010-09-03 This product provides very good protection for you iPod Nano. The clear case fits perfectly and has a clip on the back so you can clip it on your waistband if you want to instead of using the armband. The armband is good quality and looks great too. I would recommend this highly for your iPod Nano 5G. Unfortunately my iPod died about within a month of getting this.
Does the job -- 2010-08-31 This case has worked very well for my ipod nano 5g...I like that you can use the armband or the clip-only. I use the clip a lot at work.

 | iFrogz Luxe Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Red/Black)
It's just OK -- 2010-09-06 Not a bad product, I have owned two. The tabs at the side that hold the case together break after a couple of months. Good for the price but beware it may not last too long.
Junk -- 2010-09-05 Didn't fit my 3GS right from the get go, couldn't get the 2 pieces to click together properly. Finally broke after 2 weeks.
